The Buffalo State Bengals hosted a Military Appreciation Night on Friday with the visiting Georgia Bulldogs as the guest.
The Buff State team held fundraisers for local veterans organizations as part of the evening and paid tribute to service members on the team, both past and present. Both teams dressed for the occasion, with Georgia sporting a winter camouflage look and the Bengals wearing a dark grey camo set of jerseys.
The crowd on hand was treated to a great battle between two Collegiate Hockey Federation schools. A 3rd period goal with under 8 minutes left was the difference as Georgia skated out of the Buffalo State Ice Arena with a 4-3 win.
